We have felt so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff at A Helping Hand. We have found the agency to be exactly that- a hand that helps. We have felt supported, guided, and assisted by our family advocate throughout our adoption experience. She was always quick to return phone calls, answer questions, and provide reassurance and information when it was needed.

I have also appreciated the level of service that we have received regarding the actual process of preparing for an adoption. We were given clear instructions on how to gather the papers that were our responsibility and AHH was always very speedy with any work they needed to do for us. We began the process in May, and were able to be DTC just a little over 4 months later in August.

I have known from the beginning that we could trust our family advocate in every sense of the word. She is very professional, and very warm and caring- a rare combination. We feel extremely lucky to have found such a wonderful agency. We have felt safe and secure every step of the way. Every member of the AHH staff that we have encountered has been helpful, courteous, and caring. I can honestly say that I have felt like they were holding my hand through the whole process.
